2MS Tour overview

Cachoeira do Mosquito (Morning)

Step 1

We depart from Lençóis at 8:30 AM and, after a scenic 40-minute drive, arrive at the Mosquito Farm. First, we visit the viewpoint to admire the waterfall from above. Then, a short 15-minute walk leads us to the base of the Mosquito Canyon. The majestic combination of towering rock walls and the cascading waterfall creates a breathtaking spectacle.

We spend a while at the waterfall, alternating between refreshing swims, soothing hydromassage beneath the waterfall and contemplating the waterfall, before heading out of the canyon. After a 40-minute drive, we return to Lençóis for lunch.

Parque da Muritiba (afternoon)

Step 2

After lunch, the guide takes the group to the Muritiba Park. After a 10-minute walk, we arrive at our first destination: the natural pools of Serrano. Here, we witness a geological marvel: the Rio Lençóis has carved perfectly round pools into the conglomerated rock, as if sculpted by divine hands. Surrounding these pools, the round stones of various colors, smoothed to perfection, create a vibrant mosaic that would enchant any painter.

We continue for another 5 minutes and descend underground into the natural labyrinth known as the Colored Sands Hall. In this hidden realm, the river has carved deep gorges into the conglomerate rock. The ceiling is adorned with gigantic stones that seem to float magically. As we traverse the stone corridors, you'll see the floor covered with sands of varying colors, a palette of over 12 hues resulting from the erosion of the colored stones.

We leave the Colored Sands Hall and head to Halley Pool, where we observe unique geological formations from Serra do Sincorá, once the bed of an ancient sea 1.1 billion years ago.

After the guide shares insights about these formations, we ascend to the Primavera Waterfall. This cascade, with its powerful jet, crashes forcefully against the rocks, where you can sit and enjoy a relaxing hydromassage, with its intensity varying depending on the water flow.

From there, we climb higher to reach the Paradise Pool, which feeds the Primavera Waterfall. The blend of stones and tropical foliage with its gradient of greens, seems like a miniature of the Eden Garden, where every element seems deliberately placed to craft a warm, inviting space.

From the pool, we climb even higher to reach the summit of our hike, the Lençóis Viewpoint, offering the best panoramic view of the city below, surrounded by hills and forests. After capturing this breathtaking vista, we descend to our final stop and last swim at Cachoeirinha (Little Waterfall), a delicate cascade resembling a constantly flowing lace curtain. After this refreshing dip, we return to Lençóis as twilight descends!
